Tobey Maguire is set to star in Jacob Estes’ indie-black-comedy “The Details,” the story of a struggling married couple whose already difficult lives are further complicated by ravenous raccoons burrowing under the sod in their back yard which sparks disagreements that catalyzes a chain reactions of mishaps.
Elizabeth Banks, Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert, Anna Friel and Laura Linney are attached to co-star. The project will be Maguire’s last before reprising his role as Peter Parker in “Spider Man 4” where Banks may also appear. [Variety]
