Trailer For Jaco Van Dormael's 'Mr Nobody' Debuts

The international trailer for Jaco van Dormael’s “Mr. Nobody” has just debuted via QuietEarth and seemingly lives up to its early promise of an epic sci-fi fairytale about life, death and mortality that will no doubt draw comparisons to David Fincher’s “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.”

The film follows the story of Nemo Nobody, played by actor/musician Jared Leto, as a man who wakes up in the year 2092 as a 120 year old who finds himself as the oldest man in the world and the last mortal in a world where nobody dies. ‘Nobody’ will explore the butterfly effect through it’s protagonist’s eyes in a tale that spans centuries and planets and studies the impact that choices have on our lives.

Joining Leto will be the likes of Diane Kruger, Sarah Polley, Rhys Ifans, Linh Dan Van and Juno Temple. We previously previewed the film as one of our most anticipated for 2009 and, despite the trailer’s insistence of a October 7th release date (which is unfortunately for Belgium only), ‘Nobody’ is yet to gain U.S. distribution.
