French Thriller 'Tell No One' Is Top Grossing Foreign Film In The U.S.

Remember “Tell No One” the twisting French thriller, by actor/director Guillaume Canet?

We’ve sort of forgotten about it, but the experience itself was an amazing one. It’s now the highest grossing foreign film in the U.S. this year having racked up $6.2 million in box-office receipts so far. Not bad, congrats to it. The DVD and Blu-Ray are due in the first quarter of 2009. We’re still dying to get our hands on the song by Mathieu Chedid (under the name of -M- ) that closed the film in the credits, it was gorgeous. Anyone have? Please send. We’re pretty sure, it’s called “Le Secret.” The French soundtrack disc was released in August and goes for 10 euros, but with shipping and whatnot that’s like $100,000, right? (the film also features Otis Redding – in the trailer and one of the weirdest uses of u2 in a film ever; read our review).

Here’s the trailer, Marie-Josée Croze is tres belle.
