‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey’: Margot Robbie & Colin Farrell To Star In Kogonada’s New Film

Even though it seemed like Margot Robbie was hinting at taking a bit of a break after the massive success of “Barbie,” the actress has already signed on for her next project, and it’s shaping up to be something really exciting.

According to Deadline, Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell are set to star in the upcoming film, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” for director Kogonada. Not much is known about the film, but it appears to follow two strangers who connect through an amazing journey. As much as Robbie and Farrell are huge names, it’s just exciting to know that Kogonada has another project coming soon. He’s a filmmaker best known for his features “Columbus” and his most recent, “After Yang.” The new film is written by Seth Reiss, who worked on “The Menu.”

As mentioned, Robbie is coming off of “Barbie.” She hinted after that she was going to take a break because she worried people would be sick of her due to all of the “Barbie” love. But apparently not. She also is in the middle of developing an “Ocean’s 11” prequel, but ‘Journey’ is her next film. 

Farrell is another A-lister who always finds himself in interesting projects. He previously worked with Kogonada on the aforementioned “After Yang.” He’ll next be seen in the mystery series, “Sugar,” on Apple TV+. 

Of course, it’s too early to know when we might see “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” debut in theaters. The film is said to begin production this spring, so perhaps sooner rather than later.
