“A Week Away” is ready to introduce you to the next sugary-sweet earworm you can’t get out of your head. The upcoming Netflix movie mashes up undeniably catchy pop music against an idyllic lake-set summer camp. The trailer alone is enough to entice viewers into a watch.
The movie follows troubled teen Will Hawkins (Kevin Quinn) as he finds himself on thin ice with the local authorities. He’s eventually given an unusual choice — go to juvenile detention or attend a Christian summer camp. Much to his surprise, Will ends up falling for a camp regular (Bailee Madison). After opening his heart to love, he opens himself up to the transformative experience of a lifetime.

“A Week Away” drops on Netflix on March 26. The movie musical will also drop a complete soundtrack in tandem with its release. The official “A Week Away” soundtrack will be available for pre-order on 2/26 accompanied by the release of 3 early singles. The full soundtrack will subsequently be available on March 19, with songs by artists such as Johnnyswim, Tauren Wells, and Riley Clemmons.
