‘Bad Sisters’ Trailer: Sharon Horgan Leads A Group Of Sisters That May Have Killed Their Sh*tty Brother-In-Law

Lately, starring in features like “Together” with James McAvoy and “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent” with Nicolas Cage, for actress Sharon Horgan, simply working in front of the screen is not enough. Coming this Fall to Apple TV+, created by and starring Horgan, is the dark comedy and thriller series “Bad Sisters.” The first trailer for the upcoming show is now available online for those looking for thrills to add to their humor.

Alongside her appearances in the two aforementioned films, Horgan, also known for starring in and creating the British sitcom “Catastrophe,” recently worked as a co-creator with Jeff Astrof for the horror comedy show “Shining Vale” on Starz. Our review for that show is available to read by clicking here. Additionally, Horgan also has a forthcoming comedy series for Prime Video, starring both herself and Billy Magnussen (“Game Night,” “No Time to Die”). “Bad Sisters” then looks to be a new project worth a viewing from the already intensely busy Horgan when it premieres this Fall on Apple TV+.

Adapted from the Belgian television series “Clan” created by Malin-Sarah Gozin, “Bad Sisters” is executive produced and written by Horgan, and Brett Baer & David Finkel (“30 Rock, “New Girl”). Directors on the show include Dearbhla Walsh (“Shameless,” “The Handmaiden’s Tale”), Josephine Bornebusch (“Orca,” “Harmonica”), and Rebecca Gatward (“Dublin Murders,” “The Spanish Princess”).

Here’s the official synopsis:

“Bad Sisters” follows the lives of the Garvey sisters bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another.

That doesn’t quite tell the entire tale, there’s a bit of a murder mystery to the entire thing too,but we suppose Apple doesn’t want that fully spoiled yet, but hey, it’s a great reason to watch! Starring Sharon Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, Eve Hewson, Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab, and Saise Quinn, “Bad Sisters” releases on August 19th through Apple TV+ with its first two episodes, new episodes following weekly through October 14th.
