What’s one way to spice up the holiday comedy? How about a broken-up couple, a custody battle over their bar, and a bunch of regulars who don’t want their drinking interrupted?

That’s the gist of “Bar Fight!,” a new comedy from IFC headed to select theaters and AMC+ this November. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Melissa Fumero and Luka Jones of “Shrill” co-star as a couple who will do anything to finalize their split, but who gets their beloved bar stands in their way.
Here’s the film’s official synopsis, courtesy of IFC:
Nina and Allen split everything in their lives after their break-up and must compete in a ridiculous custody battle for their prized watering hole in which lines will be drawn, sides will be chosen, and beers will be drunken.
Alongside Fumero and Jokes, “Bar Fight!” also stars Rachel Bloom, Julian Gant, Vik Sahay, and Caroline Harris. Shontae Saldana, David Carzell, and Patrick Byas round out the main cast.
Jim Mahoney writes and directs “Bar Fight!,” his feature directorial debut. Mahoney’s best known in the industry for acting in TV shows like “The Orville.” He also has a role in the upcoming comedy film “The List.”
