Bill Murray Reunites With Wes Anderson & Tilda Swinton For New Film Shooting Later This Year

Now, Variety is reporting another casting addition with long-time collaborator Bill Murray set to join the untitled film, which will likely consist of other Wes Anderson players from previous projects, as the filmmaker is known to do.

The untitled movie is reportedly set to begin production this September in Spain, but details, as usual, are scarce at this point ahead of production given that Anderson is extremely protective about what information gets out. It had originally planned on shooting in Rome, Italy, and decided to move things to Spain instead.

Bill Murray previously worked with Anderson on “Rushmore,” “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” “Moonrise Kingdom,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Isle of Dogs,” and, of course, “The French Dispatch.”

This would make this new film the ninth feature film Bill Murray and Wes Anderson have worked together on. We’ll see how many more movies the pair will get to make and we’re dying to know if this upcoming one will indeed be a Western or something completely out of left-field.
