Got a Tip?

Blake Lively Joins Woody Allen’s Next Movie With Jesse Eisenberg And Kristen Stewart

Age of AdalineBlake Lively, favorite of auteur directors? Don’t laugh, because the "Gossip Girl" star has found her way onto the sets of some interesting filmmakers. Granted, "Savages" was awful, but it was directed Oliver Stone. She made those Gucci spots with Nicolas Winding Refn, soon she’ll be teaming with Marc Forster on "All I See Is You," and her latest "Age Of Adaline" was helmed by rising indie filmmaker Lee Toland Krieger ("The Vicious Kind," "Celeste & Jesse Forever"). So perhaps the leap to Woody Allen isn’t so drastic as you might think.

Yep, the actress is joining the prolific filmmaker’s next movie that already has Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, and Bruce Willis attached. Naturally, there are no plot details, but it will probably concern some kind of existential crisis, romance, and be either a drama or comedy.

Production will begin this summer, you’ll probably see it in 2016, and Sony Pictures Classics will more than likely pick up the distribution rights at some point in the near future. [Deadline]
