We’re in the dying days of August, which means the new movies headed to the multiplex tend not to drum up much excitement. A new red band trailer has arrived for “Hands Of Stone,” which mostly seems like the kind of the movie that doesn’t have enough material to warrant that kind of promotional treatment. Whatever gets butts in the seats, I guess.
Starring Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Usher Raymond, Ana de Armas, Ellen Barkin and John Turturro, the film tells the story of Roberto Duran, who surprisingly won the WBC Welterweight title, only to lose just as quickly following his rise to fame.
“Hands Of Stone” will cap off the summer, opening on August 26th. Check out the new trailer along with a lyric video for “Champions” by Usher.
