Brad Pitt Gets Younger Every Day In ‘Benjamin Button’ CGI Aging Time Warp

This post’s headline inspired us to do something we wanted to do ever since the new and gorgeous, trailer for David Fincher’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”was released about a week ago. Now when this project was first announced, we were incredibly skeptical as we are skeptical of all projects that seemingly rely on too much CGI, but damn if the technology doesn’t seem to be totally there. ‘Benjamin Button’ is based on a F. Scott Fitzgerald short story where the main titular character (played by Brad Pitt) gets perpetually younger and his “condition” makes his lover (Cate Blanchett) grow older. We thought it would be interesting to lay out the chronology from the trailer. So far by the trailer, we’re totally intrigued. Hopefully this won’t be the snoozefest that was “Zodiac.”
