Bruce Willis May Join 'The Expendables'? Robert Rodriguez Wants To Jump The Project Queue W/ 'The Jetsons', First Look: Nicole Kidman In 'Rabbit Hole'

Rumor has it Bruce Willis may be joining Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables” if scheduling on Kevin Smith’s “A Couple Of Dicks” permits. His reported character, ‘Church,’ is apparently the man who hires the expendable team of mercenaries and has a pivotal scene with Sly and Arnie. Total bullshit? Robert Rodriguez has revealed that the live-action adaptation of “The Jetsons,” which was said to be next after his sci-fi project “Nerverackers,” is currently being re-written and shooting will hopefully begin next year. So this, “Machete,” “Nerverackers” “Predators” and “Sin City 2” are all on his plate and coming soon? We’ve just about given up on trying to figure Rodriguez out. [MTV] However, a note for those trying to figure what really comes out next from this ever-changing mind. The June issue of Production Weekly has “Machete” on the docket for this summer and tellingly, no other Rodriguez projects. BTW, you knew it was total bullshit, but Rodriguez himself killed the rumor (via AICN) that Arnold Schwarzenegger had been contacted about being part of the “Predators” film.

Kevin Williamson has confirmed that the proposed “Scream” film is a sequel rather than a remake and that plans are for the film to span a new trilogy. Has it really come to this? Wes Craven is open to the idea, but only if the script is of quality, but with Craven, who knows what that means. [/Film]

Universal and Imagine have picked up “The Originals,” a script by Bryce Dallas Howard which may potentially be directed by her father Ron Howard.
