According to Deadline, Cailee Spaeny, Ellie Bamber, and Erin Kellyman are all set for the three lead roles in “Willow,” which should be starting production in the near future. Disney has yet to confirm exact details about how the series will fit into the “Willow” universe that was set up in the film from 1988. However, the report claims the three leads will play a trio that sets out on a journey to rescue a kidnapped prince. Spaeny will portray Kit, a princess who’s twin brother was abducted. She’s joined by Kellyman, who will play Jade, a servant of Kit’s that is also a warrior. The lead is expected to be Bamber, as Dove, an unassuming kitchen maid that is foretold to be the chosen one that will save the day. And somewhere along the way, Warwick Davis returns as the title character.
