Michael Bay recently revealed that he was hesitant in offering his second cousin, Leonard Nimoy, a voice role in “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen”: “[Nimoy] is married to Susan Bay, who’s a cousin to me. I just feel kind of bad about asking him. Like ‘I can’t pay you that much? But would you do this voice?'” “Transformers” earned mega-bucks, so they idea that Bay can’t pay what he contends is almost an in-law relative is rather hilarious.
Bay has some inside info on Nimoy’s eagerness: “Would he do it? He suggested to my mom that he might do it – And now that you are filming this, maybe you can send it to him.” Nimoy voiced the character Galvatron in 1986’s “Transformers: The Movie.”[MTV]
