Does Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor want to play in Marvel‘s sandbox? We’ll soon find out as the superhero studio is eyeballing the actor for one of their big upcoming films.
THR reports that the "12 Years A Slave" thesp is being courted to join Benedict Cumberbatch in "Doctor Strange." The part? It’s unknown at this point. There is some debate among insiders as to whether or not Ejiofor will play the villain of the film, but there’s no shortage of characters for him to take on, so feel free to speculate. And either way, the man himself may answer when he swoops into Sundance to promote Craig Zobel‘s "Z For Zachariah."
Anyway, decisions will likely be coming soon as this project needs to head in front of cameras at some point this year. The Scott Derrickson directed "Doctor Strange" lands on November 4, 2016.
