Washing into theatres this past spring, Darren Aronofsky‘s "Noah" was unlike any Bible story brought to the big screen in recent memory. Or perhaps ever. Moving away from the traditional Sunday School narrative you might remember, Aronofsky’s vision was darker, but also deeply looked at the price of faith, spiritually and emotionally. And if you missed it or want to see it again, we’ve got a way to make that happen.
But first, a recap: Aronofsky’s film brings together Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Ray Winstone, and Douglas Booth in the tale that sees Noah tasked by God to build an ark before a flood comes to wipe out the inhabitants of Earth who have gone astray. But Noah will find his faith, survival and relationships challenged by the task, one that must see him reckon with the sin within his own family and himself. It’s dark stuff but all accomplished with Aronofsky’s attention to visual detail. And we’ve got a few Blu-ray combo packs for some lucky readers so they can experience it at home. How do you win?
Email us with your name, address and tell us which movie you’d bring with you on the ark and why—you can only bring one! Good luck!
"Noah" arrives on home video on July 29th.
