Did 'Twilight' Star Anna Kendrick Toss The 'New Moon' Script In The Trash?

Ok, no one is posting them with the ferocity of say, “Inglourious Basterds” posters, but there are three new character posters for the “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon,” for the three readers on our site that care and the 10 million tweeners who have already seen them, loved them (perhaps too intimately) and moved on to the next piece of “Twilight” franchise detritus.

More importantly, and far more amusing to us is this news from Yahoo about a woman – a St. Louis beauty salon owner – who found the “New Moon” script in a trash bin, lol.

What’s even funnier is she found them in a St. Louis hotel where Jason Reitman’s “Up in the Air,” was shooting with George Clooney; and of course, one of the co-stars of the film, Anna Kendrick also starred in “Twilight.”

Ha, was it she that threw out the script? Possibly thinking to herself, “God, why did I sign up for this trash, no sense in learning these lines,” *toss* [ed. god’s honest truth we have if she’s still part of the McFranchise, but she is still listed on the IMDB page). According to a spokeswoman for the actress, there’s no way she would have “left scripts lying around.”

Suuuuure. The woman returned the script and in return was invited to the premiere (and to the premiere of another film called, “Memoirs,” the script of which she also found – hmm, perhaps another project Kendrick is not interested in?). Tweeners are surely going to rip Kendrick apart if they already haven’t begun on “Twilight” fansites.

“The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” opens up in theaters this Fall, November 20.
