'Die, My Love': LaKeith Stanfield Joins The Cast Of Lynne Ramsay's Upcoming Film

One of the most anticipated films of 2025 is, without a doubt, “Die, My Love,” the new film from director Lynne Ramsay. And today, with a new name added to the cast, we are somehow even more excited.

According to Deadline, LaKeith Stanfield has been added to the cast of Lynne Ramsay’s new film, “Die, My Love.” Stanfield joins a cast that already includes Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. The reports claim the film is about a mother in a rural area who finds herself battling psychosis. And if you know anything about Ramsay’s work, you can already imagine what that battle is going to look like.

Stanfield is probably best known for his roles in “Atlanta” and “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The latter of which earned him an Oscar nomination. More recently, he showed up in films such as “The Book of Clarence” and “The Haunted Mansion,” as well as the TV series, “The Changeling.” Upcoming, he is expected to star opposite Mark Wahlberg in a film called “Play Dirty.”

For those not familiar with Ramsay’s work, her most recent film is the 2017 drama, “You Were Never Really Here.” Prior to that, she is maybe best known for her 2011 film, “We Need to Talk About Kevin.” This year marks the 25th anniversary of her debut film, “Ratcatcher.” And over that 25 years, she has only directed a total of four features. So yeah, when she announces a new film, we get excited.

No release date has been set for “Die, My Love.” But with filming beginning this month, you can reasonably expect it sometime in 2025.
