An alert reader over at /Film has pointed to an early clip of the forthcoming Emma Stone led comedy, “Easy A.”
The film, which is already building a small amount buzz after reports that early test screenings have gone phenomenally well (though test screening audiences are usually retards), marks the first leading comedy role for Stone after her breakout performance in “Superbad.” In the film, she plays a high school student who lies about losing her virginity in order to climb up the social ranks, only to find her life suddenly resembling that of Hester Prynne in “The Scarlet Letter.”
We were definitely amused by the clip below which perfectly illustrates how an awful song — in this case Natasha Bedingfield’s “Pocket Full Of Sunshine” — can work its way inexplicably into your brain. Funny stuff.
“Easy A” opens on September 17th.
