While the knotty politics of the ongoing Western presence in Afghanistan may make for countless editorials and thinkpieces, it’s the soldiers on the ground who have to live through the experience. In "Kilo Two Bravo," which is based on a true story, audiences get an intense look at one regiment who are put to the test in ways they could never imagine.

Directed by Paul Katis, and starring David Elliot, Mark Stanley, Scott Kyle, Benjamin O’Mahony, and Bryan Parry, the film follows a platoon tasked with neutralizing a Taliban roadblock in the Kajaki region of Afghanistan. As they close in on the insurgents, the unit find themselves marooned in the middle of an active minefield, setting in motion a desperate air rescue mission that risks detonating the entire explosive terrain.
