While today in multiplexes around the country, Joel Kinnaman is suiting up as the crime-fighting “RoboCop,” in limited release or just in the comfort of your own home, you’ll be able to catch the actor taking care of business in a wholly different way with “Easy Money: Hard To Kill.” The sequel to his breakout film “Easy Money” (which also put director Daniel Espinosa on the map) is coming to America, and Kinnaman will be (reluctantly) on the wrong side of the law.
Directed by Babak Najafi, the story follows JW, an economics student turned drug runner, who’s behind bars when ‘Hard To Kill’ starts off. Looking to turn things around, he writes a piece of financial software that he hopes will be his legal ticket to success on the outside, but when it’s stolen, it’s just one part of a string of events that finds him sliding back into a world he was trying to leave behind. In this exclusive clip, we watch JW confront the man who robbed him of his future.
“Easy Money: Hard To Kill” opens in theaters and VOD on February 14th. Watch below.
