Endorsements don’t get much more ringing than that. With the movie making its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in August, and stopping by Telluride not long after, the next stop for the highly anticipated picture is at the New York Film Festival, where the buzz is only going to get louder. Featuring a starry ensemble including Edward Norton, Naomi Watts, Emma Stone, Zach Galifianakis and many more, "Birdman" follows a former superhero movie star who launches a career comeback via the Broadway stage. It’s a terrific achievement, with our effusive review out of Venice calling the movie simply "phenomenal."
