"When I conceptualized ‘Charlie, Trevor And A Girl Savannah,’ I aimed at creating an enjoyable experience for the audience while aspiring for a thought provoking project which questions our very own perception of mind or consciousness, body or physical world and soul or human spirit," writer/director Ty Hodges says about his upcoming movie. His words are worth keeping in mind as you dive into this exclusive trailer for the film.
Starring Emily Meade (recently seen on HBO‘s "The Leftovers"), Eric Roberts and Toby Hemingway, along with Hodges as well, the psychological thriller follows the titular Charlie and Trevor embarking on a quest to find Savannah after she’s kidnapped. But their journey dips between layers of consciousness in this heavily stylized and complex movie, which is intended to make you feel like you’re inside a video game.
"Charlie, Trevor And A Girl Savannah" premieres at Arena Cinema in Los Angeles on June 19th, and expands to select cities in June and July. Watch below.
