Far and away, the biggest hit on Starz, with a big cult following, “Outlander,” is a period-piece romantic drama that involves time travel. The series stars Caitríona Balfe as a Scottish former military nurse from WWII who is transported to 1743 and falls in love with and marries a Highland warrior (Sam Heughan). The series follows the melodramatic turns of their relationship and the Jacobite rising of 1745 that engulfs their lives. “Outlander” has become so big that season seven was chaptered into two parts, with an eighth and final season on the way.

Interior Chinatown
From writer/creator Charles Yu (“Westworld,” FX’s “Legion”), the series tells the story of an Asian-American actor (Jimmy O. Yang) struggling against clichéd roles and stereotypes at work and in his personal life. The series also stars Chloe Bennet, Sullivan Jones, and Ronny Chieng. Taika Waititi directed the pilot episode, and additional directors include Stephanie Laing (“Physical”) and Jaffar Mahmood (“The Great”).
Premiere Date: November 19 on Hulu.

Yellowstone” Season 5, Part 2
No other show coming this fall comes with as much drama and baggage as “Yellowstone.” One of the most popular shows on network television, creator Taylor Sheridan and lead actor Kevin Costner butt heads last year, resulting in a stand-off where Sheridan threw up his hands, essentially shit-canned the star, announced a new series spin-off and wrote the Dutton family patriarch out of the show. How does “Yellowstone” come to a satisfying conclusion without its main character? Your guess is as good as ours, but at least the rest of the Dutton family, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, and the rest of the supporting cast return. Presume that episode one is a funeral or something to that effect to explain Dutton’s absence.
Premiere Date: November 10 on Paramount Network.

Landman
Taylor Sheridan has three shows arriving in 2024, and two of them come out in November, just days from each other. His latest is “Landman,” which is set within the world of oil rigs in West Texas, where roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fuel a boom so big it reshapes the climate, economy, and geopolitics. Billy Bob Thornton stars as an oil crisis exec, and he is joined by Ali Larter, Demi Moore, Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia, Michael Peña, Jacob Lofland, and many more.
Premiere Date: November 17 on Paramount+.

Dune: Prophecy
Another one of those spin-offs that likely wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t already shot, post the very brief, Peak TV everyone-gets-a-series era (2020-2023), “Dune: Prophecy” is a spin-off of Denis Villeneuve’sDune” films, but he’s not at all involved. Originally written by Jon Spaights (the writer of all “Dune” films), the series is set 10,000 years before the film’s events and centers on the history and creation of the Bene Gesserit Witches. But it had a slew of problems and went through many different showrunners, writers, directors, and a scrapped pilot that had to start all over again. Alison Schapker is the final showrunner and Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jessica Barden, Shirley Henderson,  and Mark Strong star.
Premiere Date: TBD November on MAX.
