'Fantastic Mr. Fox' Soundtrack Hits November 3, Features Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Jarvis Cocker & Burl Ives

Just like “The Darjeeling Limited” soundtrack, Wes Anderson will continue his relationship with ABCKO records to release the soundtrack to “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” which will hit shelves and digital outfits on November 3rd.

The 25-track soundtrack disc will contain tracks by Wes favorites, The Rolling Stones (“Street Fighting Man’) the Beach Boys (“Heroes and Villains,” Ol’ Man River”) Burl Ives (“Fooba Wooba John” and three tracks in total), famous French New Wave-era’d composer Georges Delerue, one original Jarvis Cocker song written specifically for the film and a score composed, conducted, and produced by Alexandre Desplat. Wes Anderson and music soundtrack supervisor Randall Poster also co-produced some of the score as well.

“Fantastic Mr. Fox” his U.S. theaters in limited release starting November 13 and then goes wide November 25. The film will make its world premiere in London at the London Film Festival on October 14.
