OK, so Johnny Depp‘s spy movie thing “The Tourist” is kind of a disaster, but he’ll still be able to sleep tonight on the bed of money he’s making from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. With the fourth installment hitting next spring and another two reportedly in the works, he would never have to work on any other film if he didn’t really want to. Anyway, some fresh images from “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” have arrived in advance of the trailer which will hit Monday, and they should take a bit of the sting out if you were unfortunate enough to catch an early screening of “The Tourist.”
The film stars Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Stephen Graham, Richard Griffiths, Keith Richards, Judi Dench, Sam Clafin and Astrid Berges-Frisby and this time around Captain Jack Sparrow is chasing the Fountain Of Youth. Something has to be keeping Keith Richards alive.
The film arrives on May 26, 2011 in hopefully not sea-sickening 3D. More images and the synopsis after the jump.
