With the last couple days involving swirling controversy around the "Spectre" production and the approximately $20 million dollars in incentives the production accepted to shoot in Mexico in exchange for reportedly making script tweaks so as not to harm the country’s image, while also hiring a Mexican actress to be a Bond girl (filled in by recently announced "Miss Bala" star Stephanie Sigman), the timing of the film’s first poster is curious. Perhaps Sony is hoping its appearance might deflect from that controversy — for instance, the first "Skyfall" poster was released in May 2012, six months before the movie hit theaters in November. But then again, the stakes are pretty high for this movie, with the $1 billion bar of its predecessor one to beat.
Anyway, the first one sheet is here and Daniel Craig is getting his blue steel on. Here’s the official synopsis:

"Spectre" opens on October 23rd in the U.K. and on November 6th in the U.S.
