After starting his career being best known as the hunky guy in the “Divergent” film series, Theo James has started to pick some really interesting roles as of late. With starring roles on TV series such as “The Time Traveler’s Wife,” “White Lotus,” and “The Gentlemen,” as well as a film like “Dual,” James has quickly turned into an actor worth keeping an eye on. And he’s added yet another interesting project to his schedule with “Fuze.”
According to Variety, Theo James is set to star opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson in David Mackenzie’s upcoming heist thriller, “Fuze.” Here’s the synopsis: “FUZE opens on the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb in a London construction site, sparking a mass evacuation – the perfect cover for a heist.”
It’s unclear what James’ role is going to be in the film, but with him and Taylor-Johnson on board, along with Mackenzie behind the camera, “Fuze” is definitely a film we’re going to be eager to watch.

“Fuze” is written by Ben Hopkins and directed by Mackenzie. The filmmaker is probably best known for his film “Hell or High Water,” but his most recent outing was 2018’s “Outlaw King.” That said, he has already completed filming on another project, “Relay,” but there’s no release date set for that thriller. You have to assume it’s nearly completed, as “Fuze” is expected to go in front of cameras in July.
No release date has been set for “Fuze.” However, with a summer start date, we can hope to see the film arrive sometime in 2025.
