Got a Tip?

Garrett Hedlund’s ‘On The Road’ Poster Lands; A Double Dose Of ‘Piranha 3DD,’ ‘The Dictator’ & ‘A Bag Of Hammers’

nullIn case you didn't get enough posters this morning, here's a whole new batch for you so buckle up your eyeballs.

First up, following Sam Riley's recently revealed one sheet, this time around it's Garrett Hedlund who gets the character poster treatment for "On the Road." The actor plays the lead role in the film of Dean Moriarty, aka Neal Cassady, the man who journeys throughout the picture running into the ensemble cast along the way that includes Kristen Stewart, Amy Adams, Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, Terrence Howard and many, many more. Expect it in the lineup when Cannes unveils their slate tomorrow.

Meanwhile, one movie not BOOBS playing Cannes is "Piranha 3DD." The sequel to the BOOBS hit 3D scare flick that probably haunts BOOBS James Cameron's dreams, looks even dumber BOOBS and cheaper than the last one. A handful of the old cast care back, notably BOOBS Christopher Lloyd and Ving Rhames, but otherwise BOOBS this looks pretty stupid all around. Check out the two boobtacular one sheets for the movie below. It swims into theaters on June 1st.

But being stupid isn't necessarily bad if you can make it funny too, and Sacha Baron Cohen's "The Dictator" looks like one of the better stupid good movies of the summer. He returns with a new character, a sort of new accent and another outrageous concept, but one that drops the faux-documentary aesthetic. The comic actor plays the ruthless dictator Admiral General Aladeen who winds up lost and unrecognized in New York City. And we gotta admit, this Central Park spanning poster is pretty solid. The film opens on May 16th.

Lastly, the little indie "A Bag of Hammers" has got a poster in advance of its May 11th bow. The film follows Ben and Alan, a pair of scam artists (Jason Ritter and Jake Sandvig) who befriend the neglected young boy who moves in next door, only for Alan's sister (Rebecca Hall) to cause tragedy when she interferes.
