'Grown Ups 2' Adds Shaquille O'Neal, Andy Samberg, Will Forte, Cato From 'The Hunger Games' & More

nullIn the few short years since “Funny People” was released, Adam Sandler has made it his goal to outdo the fake terrible movies that his character did in Judd Apatow’s film. The nadir of his inexorable downward slope will probably be next year’s “Grown Ups 2” and he’s bringing along new faces.

While we already know that he'll be joined by Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, "Project X" star Oliver Cooper and Taylor Lautner, new set pictures have surfaced (via Slashfilm) revealing some of the cameos that the film has lined up. There's charismatic NBA star Shaquille O’Neal in full police regalia and rocking a hairstyle reminiscent of George Jefferson. And there's also 'SNL' alumni Andy Samberg, Paul Brittain and Will Forte, as well as current member Bobby Moynihan, lounging around, in what appear to be cheerleading uniforms, for a car wash scene. And that's not all.

In case you missed it, Variety recently reported that Alexander Ludwig, the actor who played the big bad Cato in “The Hunger Games,” is set for a less violent role in the comedy as David Spade’s son. “Grown Ups 2” will be released upon an unassuming public on July 12, 2013.nullnull
