All eyes are on our HBO tonight. Its new flagship show, “House Of Dragon,” its critical new “Game Of Thrones” spin-off, the first one since the hit series went off the air, premieres tonight (read our review, spoiler alert, it’s pretty good). And with all eyes on the premiere cable channel tonight, the savvy HBO is using the moment and opportunity to get audiences salivating for the future.
So, tonight, in a new teaser trailer clip, HBO flexed, showing off the hits to come for fall 2022, plus major series premiering or arriving in 2023. The biggest of them all, the most anticipated at least, is “The Last of Us,” the American post-apocalyptic television series based on the massively succession 2013 video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog. Starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, with Gabriel Luna, Nick Offerman, Anna Torv, Merle Dandridge, Jeffrey Pierce, Nico Parker, Storm Reid, and more, “The Last Of Us” follows a smuggler (Pascal) tasked with escorting a teenage girl (Ramsey) across the post-apocalyptic United States. It will also feature Tommy (Gabriel Luna), the smuggler’s younger brother and a former soldier. The series was created by Craig Mazin, who earned great acclaim as the creator and showrunner of HBO’s “Chernobyl.”
