Filmmaker Mimi Cave really turned heads in 2022 with her twisted satirical serial killer thriller, “Fresh,” which was the talk of Sundance that year. Bold and daring, the film put her on the map immediately, and she returns this year with her follow-up film, “Holland,” a marital thriller set in Holland, Michigan.

Written by Andrew Sodroski (“Manhunt”), the thriller centers on a woman whose picture-perfect life in quaint Holland, Michigan, crumbles when she and a friend uncover a twisted secret in their midst.
The film has quite the cast, too, including Nicole Kidman, Matthew Macfadyen, Jude Hill, and Gael García Bernal.

In this wildly unpredictable thriller, Nicole Kidman is the meticulous Nancy Vandergroot, a teacher and homemaker whose picture-perfect life with her community pillar husband (Matthew Macfadyen) and son (Jude Hill) in tulip-filled Holland, Michigan tumbles into a twisted tale Nancy and her friendly colleague (Gael García Bernal) become suspicious of a secret, only to discover nothing in their lives is what it seems.
