As seen in the trailer for the film, “House of Spoils” follows an ambitious young chef who is going off to open a new restaurant in a remote area. Things start coming together like an episode of “The Bear,” as ingredients are cultivated and expectations are high. But wouldn’t you know it, there’s a creepy ghost lady who is haunting this new restaurant. This leads the chef down a path of no return. Seriously, it’s like “The Bear” but creepier.
The cast includes Ariana DeBose, Barbie Ferreira, Arian Moayed, Amara Karan, Mikkel Bratt Silset, and Marton Csokas. The film is written and directed by Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy.
“House of Spoils” will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest before arriving on Prime Video on October 3. You can watch the trailer below.
