'In From The Cold' Teaser: An American Single Mom Goes Back To Her Life As A Russian Spy In Netflix's New Series

You know, sometimes even elite Russian spies/assassins need to retire. We’ve seen it time after time in films, where the assassin is forced to come out of retirement for one more job. Can’t they just leave these people alone? Well, there’s at least one more spy getting back in the game in the new Netflix series, “In From the Cold.”

As seen in the teaser for the new Netflix series, “In From the Cold” tells the story of an American single mom who just wants to watch her daughter do her sports and live a normal life. But all of that changes when the CIA forces her to shed her American single mom identity and go back to her previous life as a mysterious Russian spy, who may or may not be able to shape-shift. 

Adam Glass, who is probably best known for his work on series such as “Supernatural,” “The Chi,” and “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” serves as executive producer and showrunner on the new Netflix series.

Here’s the synopsis:

During a European vacation with her daughter, an American single mom’s life is turned upside down when the CIA forces her to confront her long-buried past as a Russian spy who was also the product of a highly classified KGB experiment granting her special abilities. After a mysterious string of manic and murderous incidents suggests someone with her exact abilities is targeting innocent people, Jenny (Margarita Levieva) is forced out of hiding to stop this villain or risk losing the family and new life she has built.
