Got a Tip?

Jennifer Lawrence To Star In ‘No Hard Feelings’ From Director Of ‘Good Boys’

After a five-year run, where she had 14 films released over that time period, Jennifer Lawrence has only appeared in 3 films since 2017 (none since the terrible “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” in 2019). But fans of the Oscar-winning actress shouldn’t fret, beginning with this year’s “Don’t Look Up,” it would appear Lawrence is ready to get back into the swing of things with plenty of new projects, including a new comedy, “No Hard Feelings.”

According to THR, Sony has purchased the rights to a new film project, “No Hard Feelings,” from director Gene Stupnitsky. While an exact plot has yet to be revealed, we do know Lawrence is also set to star in the film, which is being compared to features such as “Risky Business” and “Bad Teacher.”

This all makes sense when you look at what Stupnitsky has previously worked on. After a run on “The Office,” as a writer and producer, the filmmaker made his feature-directing debut on the film, “Good Boys,” which he also co-wrote. He’s also known for writing projects such as the aforementioned “Bad Teacher” and the series, “Hello Ladies.” Stupnitsky is expected to co-write “No Hard Feelings” alongside John Phillips.

As mentioned, after a bit of a break, it appears Lawrence is ready to jump right back into her role as a superstar in Hollywood. It’s being reported that she’s going to earn $25 million for “No Hard Feelings,” which is her latest project that was announced recently. She’s also expected to star in a massive new drama from award-winning filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino. In addition, she has the aforementioned “Don’t Look Up” arriving later this year, and a new A24 film, “Red, White and Water,” which is likely coming in 2022.

“No Hard Feelings” is expected to begin filming next summer. A release date has yet to be announced.
