Having grossed $125 million so far, the little indie hit that could, “Juno” evidently became the hightest grossing indie film in six years this week. 2002’s “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” eventually grossed $241.4 million (holy shit, really?). Daily Variety also noted that “Juno” is also the only film this year to remain in the top-10 box office list every weekend since its debut.
It’s grossed more than twice that of its closest Oscar Best Picture rival, the Coen brothers’ “No Country for Old Men,” which has earned $61.3 million so far.
Meanwhile, Fox Searchlight has announced that the teen-pregnancy comedy is coming to DVD April 15 in both single and double disc editions.
