After handing the directing reigns over to J.A. Bayona on “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” Colin Trevorrow returns with the latest sequel, “Jurassic World: Dominion,” which bows on June 10. The marketing has claimed the next pic will be the “end of the Jurassic era” but it’s unlikely they’ll stop here entirely. The dinosaurs are now on the mainland and growing in numbers, and longtime producer Frank Marshall has indicated they will keep the franchise going beyond “Dominion”
A new trailer (see below) has been released by Universal and reveals that Chris Pratt‘s Owen is looking to save Blue’s baby, the beloved raptor that Pratt’s character raised since it was a hatchling. One of the cuter promo pics from “Jurassic World” includes Pratt with a bunch of baby raptors.

The sixth installment features a bunch of new cast members such as DeWanda Wise, Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze, and Campbell Scott. Those newbies join a group of returning franchise actors like Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez, and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè.
It’ll be interesting to see how audiences react to the original “Jurassic Park” trio making their big comeback to the franchise.
From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ claws its way back onto the big screen this June. You can watch the new trailer below.
