There was a point, not too long ago, where Amy Schumer seemed like she was going to be the next A-list powerhouse. Unfortunately for her, some of her film work didn’t do so well and her public image took a bit of a hit. But now, she’s starring in a new film on Netflix, “Kinda Pregnant,” and we’ll have to see if this leads to more starring roles in the future.

As seen in the trailer, “Kinda Pregnant” follows Schumer as a single woman who wears a fake pregnancy belly to get attention from people. But eventually, as you might imagine, she has to figure out how to get out of the lie after she meets the man of her dreams. Hilarity ensues.

The film stars Amy Schumer, Jillian Bell, Will Forte, Damon Wayans Jr., Brianne Howey, Alex Moffat, Joel David Moore, Lizze Broadway, Urzila Carlson, and Francis Benhamou. “Kinda Pregnant” is directed by Tyler Spindel. The filmmaker is no stranger to comedy projects, having previously helmed films such as “Father of the Year,” “The Wrong Missy,” and “The Out-Laws.”
