We’ve liked the early trailers and have been anticipating this one for a while, but unless you’re in the U.K., there is still a bit of a wait until you get to see Greg Mottola‘s “Paul,” so hopefully this clip will tide you over.
The alien road-trip pic finds Simon Pegg and Nick Frost leading a top-notch cast that includes Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Jane Lynch, Sigourney Weaver, Jeffrey Tambor, Joe Lo Truglio and Bill Hader in a story that follows two Brit sci-fi geeks (Pegg and Frost) whose pilgrimage to Comic-Con is interrupted when they accidentally meet an alien (a mo-capped Rogen) who takes them on an insane adventure that will change their lives. In the latest peek, some high-powered weed gets right into the head of Wiig’s character very, very quickly and she seems to go through the entirety of a bad trip in about 20 seconds. Funny stuff.
Geeks with girlfriends will be lining up to see this in the U.K. on February 14th, while folks lucky enough to be in Austin can catch it at SXSW. The rest of us continue to wait patiently until it hits theaters on March 18th. Clip below. [Empire]
