According to Deadline, Garret Dillahunt is the latest actor to join DC Studios’ upcoming HBO series, “Lanterns.” The series is inspired by the “Green Lantern” DC comics and will tell the story of two Green Lanterns who come to Earth to investigate a crime. In the series, Dillahunt is expected to play William Macon, a self-righteous modern cowboy who masks his ambition behind a facade.

Dillahunt is an incredibly busy actor with a ton of credits over the decades. Recently, he has shown up in films such as “A Million Miles Away,” “Where the Crawdads Sing,” “Ambulance,” and “Army of the Dead.” On the TV side of things, he has shown up in series such as “Raising Hope,” “Fear the Walking Dead,” and most recently, “Hysteria.”
