Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, and Nicole Kidman once again star in the Paramount+ series. “The Umbrella Academy” actress Genesis Rodriguez joins the cast as Captain Josephina Carrillo. Saldaña and Kidman take on added duties, serving as executive producers alongside Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, David Lemanowicz, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox

The project hails from “Yellowstone” co-creator Sheridan, who also wrote 2015’s “Sicario.” Saldaña reflected on Sheridan’s influences on the acclaimed film “Lioness” during a Hollywood Reporter interview. “I do know that he has a great deal of admiration for the real work that gets done when we’re all sleeping, so he takes it upon himself to highlight this world,” the actress said.
