If you’re looking for something a little unhinged, Ben Wheatley‘s "High-Rise" will be one to keep on your radar. His adaptation of J.G. Ballard‘s novel is a unique experience, one that brings the chaos fully to life with a star-studded cast.
The director recently stopped by Empire to talk about this upcoming movie, which sees Tom Hiddleston lead the way as a man who moves into a luxury building, only to see it descend into madness. It’s a pretty scathing critique on the class differences in Britain, and as a film, it’s Wheatley’s most ambitious effort yet.
Co-starring Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, Elisabeth Moss, Stacy Martin, and James Purefoy, it opens in the U.K. on March 18th and in the U.S. later this year. The talk with Wheatley begins at about the 58-minute mark. Check out the new one-sheets and photos below.
