You either love “MacGruber” or you’re wrong. There are just no two ways around it. Just ask Christopher Nolan. And for those who are on the right side of history, you’ll be excited to watch the new trailer for the Peacock revival of “MacGruber.”
After ripping throats in prison for the last decade, the United States asks MacGruber (Will Forte) to come back and save the world one more time. And even though it’s obviously a suicide mission, Mac is ready. And as you might expect, the “explicit” trailer for the TV series features the same raunch and ridiculousness that fans of the “MacGruber” film loved years ago. It’s just now we get it in episodic form.
Joining Forte in the cast are folks such as Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe, Sam Elliott, Laurence Fishburne, Billy Zane, Joseph Lee Anderson, and Timothy V. Murphy. Peacock’s “MacGruber” is written/produced/co-showrun by Forte alongside John Solomon and Jorma Taccone. Basically, the gang who brought you the original are all coming back to once again prove how amazing “MacGruber” is.
“MacGruber” debuts on Peacock on December 16. You can watch the trailer below.
