Breaking: Michelle Pfeiffer will play Janet VanDyne In Marvel’s “Ant-Man & The Wasp.” The news was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con panel in Hall H during the “Ant-Man And The Wasp” sizzle reel, hosted by Paul Rudd and Michael Pena. Laurence Fishburne has joined the cast too. He will play a biochemist named Dr. Bill Foster AKA Black Goliath who can change size.
Entertainment Weekly, taking insanely assiduous notes, reveals more about three new characters.
–Hannah John-Kamen plays the Ghost, “sometimes depicted as more of an anti-hero than a villain.”
–Walton Goggins is playing Sonny Burch, a character who associated with Iron Man villain Obadiah Stane (who was played by Jeff Bridges)
–Randall Park will play agent Jimmy Woo, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent
Peyton Reed will again direct. Written by Andrew Barrer, Gabriel Ferrari and Paul Rudd, the film stars Rudd as Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp, plus Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Michael Douglas and the aforementioned new cast members. “Ant-Man & The Wasp” is due in theaters July 6, 2018.
