While we're still waiting for the ambitious "Cloud Atlas" to show up — all we know so far is that has an A-list playing multiple roles and Hugh Grant raping and killing people — the directing siblings The Wachowskis are already gearing up their next, equally secretive "Jupiter Ascending." Not much is known about the project except that it will return the pair to the realm of the sci-fi franchise, and that Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis were being offered the lead roles. Well, there's now one down and one to go.
MTV caught up with Kunis at CinemaCon and asked her about the project. Confirming she's read the script, she added, "Listen, I told you I'm doing it. That's the most I've told anybody." And, well, that's about all you're going to get. Everyone around the picture is keeping their lips sealed about the plot and it will likely stay that way for a while. So with Kunis now on aboard, the ball is in Tatum's court to sign up and get this thing moving.
"Jupiter Ascending" is set up at Warner Bros. and if everything comes together like it should, shooting will begin later this year.
