“Evan Almighty” shits the bed with only $32 million dollars at the opening weekend box office numbers. Apparently this is a disaster of biblical proportions. Normally this is plenty for a comedy, but ‘Almighty’ cost a whopping $175 million. Apparently it needed $50 to set the track to recoup. Hope all that animal dung on set was worth it. [Yahoo]
