'Never Let Go' Trailer: Halle Berry Has A Prayer To Protect From Evil In Alexandre Aja's New Horror Film

The marketing team behind “Never Let Go” is clearly keeping a lot of the film hidden. In previous trailers, all we really see is Halle Berry telling two young kids to stay attached to a rope and to not let go. We don’t know why. Something about the world ending.

Now, in the most recent trailer, there’s still quite a bit of mystery surrounding why they can’t let go of the rope, but we have a new wrinkle to the film—a little prayer that is said before they step outside. But it’s not a prayer to a god. It’s a prayer to the house. Odd, right? But it is effective marketing because I’m really curious what’s going on.

The cast includes Halle Berry, Percy Daggs IV, and Anthony B. Jenkins. “Never Let Go” is directed by Alexandre Aja. The filmmaker is probably best known for films such as “The Hills Have Eyes,” “Piranha 3D,” and “Crawl.”
