The hunt will begin soon. Everyone's favorite humans-killing-each-other-for-sport franchise returns to the big screen (much) later this year, but that hasn't stopped the folks at Lionsgate from reminding you that it's coming. The marketing machine for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" continues today with a couple more bits and pieces.
First off, a brand new and totally boring poster has dropped with the mockingjay logo aflame. We haven't seen that before! And adding to the recent run of images, is a new one with director Francis Lawrence (oh yeah, that guy), Jennifer Lawrence, and Liam Hemsworth. Huzzah. Here's the official synopsis:
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" arrives on November 22nd. Poster below via RopeOfSilicon.
