Before Jennifer Lawrence can begin the Oscar campaign for her excellent performance in David O. Russell's crowd-pleasing and hilarious "The Silver Linings Playbook" (read our review here), she'll have one hurdle to deftly navigate around — the low-budget horror flick "The House At The End Of The Street." And with the movie dropping next weekend, more images have hit.
Lawrence stars as a young woman who moves with her mother (Elisabeth Shue) into their dream house, only to learn that next door, a family was brutally murdered. Lawrence falls for the lone survivor of the slaying, the hunky Max Theriot, and pretty soon she's running around in a tank top. Seems like your standard suspense filler fare, though perhaps Lawrence will make it a bit more interesting.
HATES opens on September 21st.
