Got a Tip?

New Trailer For ‘Inferno’ Dives Into The Conspiracy, Lets You Email Robert Langdon

If you ever wished that you could make contact with Robert Langdon, the ultimate puzzle solver created by airplane novel writer Dan Brown, well now you can. As Sony Pictures gears up to release “Inferno,” they’ve supplied a handy email address for the Professor of Religious Symbology and Art History, who is currently out of office, but “on a path for answers.” Obviously.

Tom Hanks reprises his role in the Ron Howard directed movie that this time sees Langdon getting some Jason Bourne like amnesia, while trying to stop a virus from wiping out the majority of the Earth’s population, in a plot that somehow involves Dante’s Inferno. Puzzles will be solved, planes to Florence will be boarded. Here’s the official synopsis:

Academy Award® winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to stop a madman from unleashing a global virus that would wipe out half of the world’s population.

Co-starring Felicity Jones, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Ben Foster, and Sidse Babett Knudsen, “Inferno” opens on October 28th.
